Each day, we expect children in Years 1 to 6 to do some reading and some practice of number facts and spellings. Reading: We expect children to read daily for at least 10-15 minutes.

    Scholes (Elmet) Primary has an intake of 45 each year. In Reception, the 45 are split into two classes, and then in Years 1 to 6, we have three mixed age classes in each phase: Y1/2 phase; Y3/4 phase; and Y5/6 phase. There are lots of support staff, too - all classes have at least one extra adult to support for the majority of time.
